Hi All.
I may be moving to the Stoke area for work, however, before I make my decision I obviuosly need to do the rounds of schools etc.
I have an 8yr old son with ASD and he has a full Statement of SEN Needs. He currently attends a special school with considerable ASD experince and is very settled and over the last 12 months has made some good progress.
This is where my issue really lies, as we are quite happy with both his education, health and emotional support, so moving is a really big decision. We have no concerns regarding his ability to accept and adapt to the move however the issue is what quality of support + education he would recieve in the Stoke area.
so before we decide to spend time doing the trips round schools, read Ofsted Reports, etc etc etc etc I thought I would see if anyone in the community could give me some information about the quality of schools and services in Stoke and hopefully point in the right direct (or help me avoid the wrong directions!)
