School

Hey sorry if this is the wrong place to post but looking for parents in same situation!
I have a daughter who is due to go to secondary school she’s in mainstream at the moment but I’m worried she won’t be able to cope in secondary as she doesn’t like change and she needs to know her day before it starts or she gets all confused and upset xx

  • My son was doing really well at primary school In subjects such as science and maths... He's in year 10 of high school now and it's been a battle and he does seem to struggle with the hustle and bustle of the school as they move around classes alot in high school and don't have a set class or teacher. It's alot of changes. I feel it's too late to move him school now but he has certainly struggled being in main stream school with autism and asperges. Sometimes I feel I don't know what to do for the best. He only has a year left now. He hasn't been supported as much as he should be even though he has an EHCP plan. I wish I looked into other options..... I'm really concerned about when he leaves school, he has no desire to do anything when he leaves, which he always wanted to be a geologist all throughout primary school, now its nothing!? I literally feel like crying with the situation. I don't know what to do to get help as it seems where ever I've tried, I get a flippant answer.
