On the back of the thread of things we all love to buy and collect, I'm curious to know what you think is completely pointless.
For me, I really hate cheap generic paintings, especially canvases, of flowers, abtract art, landscapes... anything. What is the point? They are never great to look at. I'd rather have bare walls than by something tacky like that. At least buy prints of beautiful masterpieces if you want to fill a space.
I've just seen someone in my team meeting with one in the background on zoom and I couldn't stop thinking about it. Hopefully she was working from an office somewhere and not her living room.
