One of my friends who I thought was a really good friend would only meet me in bars and clubs. But they made me feel very self conscious I couldn't keep going to the bars to meet her. She wouldn't meet me at any other place do you think this is normal behaviour these days?
Yes that is very normal. Most of my "friends" disappeared when I stopped drinking. Unfortunately, true friends are very rare - most people just want to have a good time.
