Lockdown lifting

How's everyone coping with this week's changes? The pub opposite my flat was open yesterday. And I was really aware of the noise and the lack of distancing and the fact I was becoming a nosey neighbour.

I have become very used to not being anywhere near people over the last year. Going to be difficult to get back to life kind of like before. This year has been difficult personally but I realised yesterday that the lockdown has actually provided reassurance and certainty.

  • I have itchy feet, and love to be out and about. Therefore, Lockdown was painful for me.

However, there have been positives. I am in the process of getting my Solicitor to finalise the Probate grants in order to have our family home and land sold; for good. And I didn't put on too much weight.

But I really feel that too many people have been shafted, this past year. So the bad outweighs the good.

  • So, so many.

I worked in emergency services throughout the first lockdown. Managed to avoid getting ill and every day off felt like a bit of a holiday. This one has felt much harder. Working from home has been isolating at times and really great at others.

I am looking forward to being able to go to other parts of the country and see the sea. I'm not looking forward to the commute and I'm in no rush to join the queue at Primark.

Good news about sorting probate. Such a lengthy, stressful process. Sorry it has obviously meant a loss for you too.
