I agree, I have cried reading things that people have posted, thinking that's so ME! A tearful relief that I'm not the weirdo I always felt I was. 

I agree. I'm still very new to it but its great to be somewhere that people are more understanding & accepting. Yes we can have disagreements, but it doesn't bother me as it would in a NT group where I would probably avoid replying out of fear of being attacked!

That's so well written. Yeah, lol...I did not think that existed-really glad I was wrong.

It's comfortable being amongst our own.

Not having to pretend we're something else.

Not having to tiptoe around the unpredictable, explosive emotional sensibilities of non-autistics.

No stopping to think and trying to translate our direct thoughts in to Neurotypical-ese 

No judgement., just natural acceptance :)

That's so right. I didn't realize till this year, how much acceptance, understanding and compassion I really needed.

I despise the style of this forum, but appreciate the feedback from others.

I haven't 'read' or 'felt' abrasive from you on your posts....you just seem straightforward and concise to me.

I feel the same, though i know i speak in blac and white alot so i think ive come off abrasive to many...but hopefully i havent bothered too many people here because this place has been immensely beneficial for me
