Making friends

Hi. I’m Andrew and I’m 18. I would really like to make some friends. I like listening to music, especially, Panic At The Disco, Paramore, Little Mix, Coldplay, The Beatles, Jamiroquai, Michael Buble and loads more. I love everything about James Bond, the films and the cars. I also really like Fast And Furious films and cars. One of my favourite tv shows is, Victorious. It’s on Nickelodeon and it’s so funny. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is also another fave of mine. I have been home schooled for the last four years. I would love to have some friends as I get very lonely. If you would like to be my friend, please get in touch.
Thanks, Andrew.

  • Hi Andrew - I'm an old fart - but I can nerd about cars all day.  Smiley

  • Hello  LOL my nan sometimes says she's an old fart!

My favourite cars are the Ford Mustang, Chevy Corvette, Dodge Viper, Nissan 370Z and of course, I love the Aston Martin DB5 and DB10.

What cars do you like? If you drive, what car do you drive?

    Thanks for replying,

    Andrew.

  • I've owned over 40 cars - TVR, Lotus, MG, Triumph - plus a load of more normal cars.

I'm into US muscle - I'm following a lot of 65 Mustang Coyote upgrades.    I like DB5 Astons-  my friend has just bought himself a V8 Vantage.       There's an interesting Youtube about a Canadian guy restoring a Triumph GT6 Mk3 - with an LS4 v8 and narrowed Corvette rear end and Crown Vic front suspension.

If I won big on the lottery, I'd have a Jensen Interceptor - fully resto-modded sleeper..

    Do you drive?

  • I'm on my bucket list - I REALLY need to do the "Rise Of The Resistance" at Galaxy's Edge..

I love all the rides in Florida - and yes, "Escape form Gringott's" is brilliant - done it many, many times.

I found the Avatar ride to be a deeply emotional experience - especially if you're in seats 8 or 9 - right in the middle.       Felt kinda strange afterwards -  confused about my reality - strangely tearful..

Have you done "The Void" in Disney Springs?      Where you are in a virtual reality suit with 3 others as a team of rebels dressed as Storm Troopers on an undercover mission?        Another amazing experience.   The VR suit makes you feel being hit by blasters from the Imperial troops.

We had the Knight Bus and all the crew vehicles parked in our back garden during all the filming.    We kept the crew going with hot coffees (it was freezing during the shoot) - we were given all sorts of 'crew-only' memorabilia.

  • Oh my gosh! "Star Wars Galaxy's Edge"! We really can't wait to visit it! I love the Avatar "Flights Of Passage" ride, just wonderful. It's just like flying.

The "Men In Black" ride is awesome, I really enjoyed the shooting. My mum's partner is very good at it.

Wow! Your house was in "Harry Potter Prisoner Of Azkaban"?! That's unbelievable! We love "Harry Potter", so magical. Have you been on the "Gringott's" ride? It's fantastic!

The Lincoln Town Car looks pretty cool.

I will keep my fingers crossed that you get to go back to Disney World soon and I hope we do soon.

  • I'm somewhat of a Disney nerd - we hit the parks hard from rope-drop every day.   I have some disabilities so we can really take advantage of their assistance program to do every ride.      I love "Test Track" (I preferred the pre-facelift version) but the Avatar "Flights Of Passage" is truly unbelievable.

We do Universal & Seaworld too - Mako there has the highest number of people passing out on it - if you sit at the back, you're airborne for almost the whole ride!    I love the smoothness of Manta too.

We still love "The Mummy" and "Men In Black" and all the Harry Potter rides (our house was in the 3rd film)

We were supposed to be there last month but the whole covid thing has messed it up - there's a tiny possibility for mid-September or maybe next March instead.    I *need* to do the new Star Wars rides.

My favourite car out of all the ones I've had was the Town Car - so comfy and powerful - so many silly toys built in but a nice 4.6 V8 under the bonnet.

  • Wow, that's really cool that you've been to Disney Florida over 20 times, that's where we go too! My favourite ride there is Test Track at Epcot. I also love Universal Orlando. We hired a couple of cars last time such as a Dodge Ram 1500 (we only hired that because our first car, which was a Jeep Chereokee broke down, but I really liked it) and a Nissan Rogue. A monster truck would've been fab, I'd have loved that! Your friend's Aston sounds awesome, I would like to have owned one myself! I've just googled the Chevy Impala LTZ and Lincoln Town Car and they both look really smart.

  • I'd have my Interceptor liker this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1n46p3JKjwE

My friend's Aston is in dark grey metallic with burgundy interior - very smart.   My wife fancies a Shelby Mustang GT500 - I've hired lots of US cars - I've had a Lincoln Town Car 4.6 V8 and also an Impala LTZ - over 300bhp!     I could have hired a monster truck once but it had nowhere for suitcases.  Smiley

Did you do Disney in Florida?    I've done all the parks many, many times - we've been on holiday there over 20 times.

  • Hi! US muscle cars are one of my favourites. The V8 Vantage is very nice. What colour did your friend get? I've googled the Jensen Interceptor and it looks awesome! I do NOT drive as I haven't had any driving lessons. If I won the lottery, I would like to buy a Ford Mustang GT in red.

I used to collect toy monster trucks called Road Rippers but I now collect "Fast & Furious" die cast cars; the first "Fast & Furious" car I got was at Super Target in Florida.

I would love to go to a monster truck show in the future.
