Seeking a Bungalow

I am seeking a bungalow or even a semi-detached house that's affordable.

I have enquired about a Chalet in Jordanstown. However, it looks a bit old-fashioned. And living in an urban area would be a forced exercise for me.

There's also a bungalow outside Draperstown I asked about. It has four bedrooms, so I can use one for sleeping, two for storage and the other for a 'Man Cave'. The Internet mightn't be fast, but if they have 4G I can use my phones as WiFi hotspots - saving money.

Plus, I have accepted that I'm more productive during the night-time. I don't have to do nine-to-five. Declaring myself on the sick has been advantageous, in this sense.

  • Are you in a hurry?    Look around - if you find a nice area, rent nearby for 6 months to make sure while you find the *right* property - and as you're in rented, it gives you time to spruce the new house up before you move in.      Also, if you're a cash buyer, you can offset the cost of the temporary rental by offering really low on the next property - you can see just how much they need to move..
