I think it's also important to not see that as a failed relationship. A relationship doesn't have to be for life to make it a successful one.
If you gained anything from it, even that it wasnt right for you, then it was a successful relationship.
When you look back on life when we are old, having more than one relationship is a rich and varied life experience. So embrace the change, but do it gently. Remembered you are just a human, same as everyone. Your heart is paper thin. So move gently and be kind to yourself, because that's what you really need, we all do.
And yes, doing the things you love, interest wise, will make you happier and put you in the only place you need to be, inside your best self
