NAS - A charity or a business ?

NAS should be disbanded and replaced with a more accountable and transparent organisation that serves to help those with Autism, not those that run the organisation. Please sign my petition.

  • I am not convinced there is an increase in autism,

    it used to be normal for children to be quiet and listen at school,

    Being stoic or taciturn or self reliant was a virtue.

    Now modern admania is hyping the image everyone has to be excited and rushing around to spend lots of money to impress people and put on an image.

    The values of society are changing, TV demands facial expressions and emotion to make it watchable, a soap or film about people who are well organised, methodical and repetetive would be hard to sell.

     People get their values and expectations from TV and films now, not the church and books as before.

    They expect more exaggerated hype, people with less emotional overacting seem boring and a danger to the party.
