Meltdown Presentation

I'm wondering if meltdowns can present as uncontrollable laughter about a stressful situation or uncontrollable sobbing randomly with no seeming reason? Because I don't have typical "meltdowns" other than getting really overwhelmed during certain situations and finding myself stuttering or screaming or having to do deep breathing or getting really annoying and asking a million questions. But the laughing or crying ;;could those be meltdowns?

  • I don't think there are such a thing as typical meltdowns, maybe there is a most common version I don't know. Its just a state where you loose control of yourself and it gets released in various ways such as screaming, hitting, biting etc. When I was  younger, I used to scream like a madman and destroy stuff, but it can also occur in other ways. Its more important to control it for you own health and well being than worry about it. Now if I feel I'm starting to rumble I take myself out of the situation before I get to the meltdown stage for my own good.
