RESEARCH INVITATION: Invitation to participate in a University research study for an employability toolkit designed for HE students on the autism spectrum

Greetings everyone,

My name is Kristian Greenwood and I am a final-year undergraduate student with Asperger's Syndrome currently studying Creative Media Technology at Leeds Beckett University. I am currently undertaking a research study as part of my final-year production project, which is to develop an online employability toolkit which will hopefully aid students on the autistic spectrum who have studied, or are currently studying in higher education with their transition into employment.

As part of this study, I am seeking to recruit potential participants who would like to take part in providing their feedback on a short series of "wireframes" which are early versions of how the toolkit will look and feel... This is so that I can get a better idea of how the presentation of information or the usability can be improved for users of the toolkit.

Me and my research supervisor have already obtained permission from the National Autistic Society to post this invitation out on the forum and I thank them for giving me this opportunity to invite actual members of my target audience to provide their feedback on these prototypes, so that I can design the toolkit to be as effective and useable as possible.

If you choose to participate, you will be required to read a participant information sheet which contains important information about your rights in the study, including your right to withdraw and information about how the data you provide will be used. You will also be required to fill in and sign a consent form before you can take part. You are free to ask me any questions you have either through here or my e-mail below if you require any further information.

If you are interested, please contact me via e-mail at K.Greenwood3766@student.leedsbeckett.ac.uk

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kristian
