GOD 3

about 20 25 years ago when computors were first about i usst to go into chat rooms becouse of my imganation and the way my brain worked i could imagine a room and treated as such but VERYfew people got it i was kinding of hopeing i could find people on here that think like me i have been posting stuff on here today but allthough people read it thay dont say anything i would have thought autistic people would want to talk to people like themselfs or maybe i have got it all wrong sorry about the spelling

  • i would have thought autistic people would want to talk to people like themselfs

Not necessarily - and as this is a spectrum condition, there is no standard autistic type - we've all got to find where we fit..

  • Sadly I work full-time so have very little free time during the week. A lot of the time I'm just "checking in" with folk to exchange a few ideas but can't commit to more than that.

My understanding is that NAS isn't too keen on chat rooms, which seems to be what you're looking for.

Not that I'm wanting you to go (I'm glad you found this community), but if you're looking for a lot of interaction and real-time discussion then a chat room might meet your expectations more than this forum. I pretty sure there's something out there - I can't imagine there not being one dedicated to those of us on the spectrum.

Keep in touch though, this is a friendly supportive community and worth giving a chance.
