I know plenty of people who do feel the same way as you.
I like the thought that there may be some spiritual being that will judge us relatively benevolently - but I see no concrete proof of it.
Some people, and I might include myself, see the very creation of the world and human nature as some evidence that 'maybe' there is a god or some spiritual entity.
Another little shred of possible evidence (if you can call it that) is that so many people do believe in a god or some kind of spiritual entity. Though it is very interesting that opinions on gods or god have different over the millennia, so this could be seen as weak evidence by some.
Myself - I'm simply agnostic. Atheism doesn't make more sense than the existence of a god to me.
I know loads of atheists who don't believe in god, don't see any proof and, in their eyes, don't really see evidence of god either.

at last someone to talk to !!!! and sorry my spellling is not good its part of me it seems to me that most people cant deal with the truth so thay need to invent miths to make them selfs feel better about life
