Losing track of time

Does anybody else lose track of what day it is?  Or the time?

I was certain it was early Saturday morning now.

It is in fact Friday.

So I'm a whole day out.

A couple of months ago I was amazed that my local chippy was opened on a Sunday.  A few hours later I realised that it was Saturday.

  • If I'm busy with work-stuff and start getting overloaded with chopping and changing -  where I am in the week becomes very, very fuzzy. Always, always, always lose track of time when I'm fixated on a task. So much so that I've got numerous alarms to remind myself to eat, because light-headedness and my stomach rumbling are apparently not enough.

....and if I write. Boy if I write.... I lose track of everything!!!!

  • I get memory loss like a switch cutting off. I can be doing one thing and go to do another and it just goes, I recall within a few seconds but its like a blip in the brain, could be part of ADHD.  As the brain is on a continuous hamster wheel of dialogue and the anxiety caused via the intense  stream of information, causes the brain to keep rebooting to focus perhaps ? does anybody get this or am I just smoking way too much Ganja !

Yep. I have to tell work to manage how much information they give me - because I'll try and process it all if I'm not careful.

    They're learning. Slowly.
