Sorry to hear about your Nan.
Oww, that's hard. Losing someone is always unsettling. I hope you find some sollace soon.
I've not been great. My gran ended up in a hospice and died a few hours after her admission. I know that it was a kindness really but it's left a huge hole in my life and I feel bad that I can't see my granda because of being sick (swab came back, it's not Covid).
We can't have a funeral yet because of REASONS so my uncle is pushing for these issues to be cleared so we can bury gran in peace.
At a loose end and not sure what to do.
Slept late again! Then went for a 14k run with Mr NSI in shocking wind, yet kept our average speed up!
Had a hot bath. Did a mega clean, hoover everywhere and sorted bathroom. Kitchen to go. Prepped some food yesterday for the week which is good. And started to think about life post lockdown - I've got used to my routine and I'm a bit nervous of the changes.
All in all I feel good!
I slept til 11:30 afyer going to bed about 10:30, crazy! Not like me. Must've needed it. I still feel sleepy. Now just busy and happy ticking off chores.
Fantastic sleep last night. Feel really well rested. First time in days. Even my cat let me have a lie in.... weird how he keeps tabs on me.
Taking it easy today and going to soak into doing as little as possible. Will finish Gabor Mate's "When the body says no" 6 pages to go - which has been a reminder in the importance of listening to the emotions and importance of self care. I'd like to work through one of Thomas Szaz's books soon - my to-read pile just gets larger.
Got Temple Grandlin's book "The Unwritten Rules of Social Relationships" - which I figure needs to be right up there on the list.
Bit of TV perhaps? Definitely going to take a long walk either today or tomorrow .... and I really ought to clean bits of my tiny house.
Just another day at work, stuck in traffic getting here and honestly you don't understand how draining it is to have to commute to an office where you then do very little because business is so slow due to Covid (80-90% of our business is supplying the Hospitality sector that is currently shut down).
Yesterday was better.
Didn't mope much and was only half an hour late for work. Perked up during the day and had a good run training session and then chat on phone with old friend. Am on form today. Bit daunted by cleaning house at weekend and 1-2 other chores.
Yay, completed my Uni Assignment with a full 3 hours to spare nothing like leaving it to the last minute. Also did turn up to my day job (although still not sure you can call this work and I really don't do anything and should be furloughed)
