Got a bit ranty at work today. Fortunately teams has a mute button and I'm not in the office.

Feeling prickly, sometimes too much time is spent talking about the work instead of actually doing it.

The meeting about the meeting about the meeting.

Bureaux are like that.

They're usually meetings to decide something because it's been forgotten what was decided at the last one.

There's a general adversity to a) keeping a record of things b) if such a record does exist, taking the effort to read it

....there is, however, a tendency to quote so-and-so, unfortunately so-and-so made that particular decision several years ago, has since left and nobody can remember why it was made - only that it was.

People actually work like this and expect things not to go wrong.
