Today my company starts Covid testing its employees and I get the job of doing the tests

It's not too bad, I get done twice a week but they have now given us lateral flow tests that we can do on ourselves after being signed off, it's much better than having someone else tickle your brain

Its those exact Lateral Flow Test we will be using, but unlike the NHS we will only test all staff once a week because it will take 5 days to test all staff.

I will be checking the employees are doing it correctly and processing the tests before entering the results onto the NHS test/trace APP.

It is a test scheme to show that offices and warehouses can test all staff regularly without issue, if successful they hope that more offices can return to work with Social Distancing / PPE / Regular testing 

Yeah, got myself all ready for doing it today. Not the Covid that worries me, it was meeting new people as I don't see everyone usually and they have delayed the start to next week now

That sounds good, we self test and have a link to report the results on. It's not compulsory but everyone I know has the kit and uses it. 

If we get a positive lateral flow we need to report for PCR testing. I can't say it's the best thing in the world but I'd do 100 lateral flow tests before I did another PCR because those were hell!
