I'm staying at the home of my Support Bubble for a week. My home and land are now up for sale, and I have to avoid my local area for now.

The film 'The Field' starring Richard Harris underlines the attitudes Rural Ireland has towards land.

I spent a while back home today, as my uncle wanted to see the 'For Sale' signs; and I didn't want him to know I'm away for a week. In the end, the Estate Agent is placing the signs up today.

The guy who runs the main local shop - who's nosey as Hell - found out my land and home are for sale. I had to head to that shop as I forgot to bring milk back with me. That made me even more paranoid. However, I phoned the Estate Agent around 2 pm and he said there's interest already. Some genuine interest; but one Land Shark. (I can dismiss the Land Shark)

My only concern is someone looking to go to the Bank First to buy the land. It might end up messy in the long run. In the South of Ireland, there were quite a few evictions because they couldn't repay the banks. However, the Banks were basically Casinos there.
