I got home from the hospital today, glad to be in my own house. The woman in the bed diagonal from me was irritating the life out of me last night into this morning. She was so loud and demanding of the nurses even though she has had the treatment before so she knew what was going on.
I was so relieved when she went home and I was left alone for a couple of hours. I need to put all my hospital clothes in for washing but otherwise not much else to do as husband has left the house nice and tidy. I'm probably going to lie down for a bit as my legs are really sore, the medicine causes muscle cramps.
I had to get my IV line changed last night and they couldn't find another vein. The nursing sister even looked with an ultrasound machine, I've always had terrible access. They eventually gave up and gave me my last two doses subcut which means under the skin. It wasn't too bad but I can deal with dull pain but not sharp pain like this was giving me. It was over in minutes but I felt a bit sorry for myself. I'm having less of the nausea today but more of the pain.
My sisters have been doing tiktok videos and sending them, some are really funny!
