Feeling a little queasy this morning. I cooked up some chicken and chorizo pasta yesterday, which was going great until I added creme fraiche. The creme fraiche was well enough in date so I threw it in without even thinking, but after a taste test discovered it was just a little too tangy for my liking, prompting me to have a little sniff in the tub which confirmed my suspicions.
OFC I wasn't about to waste a few quid worth of ingredients (cooking a batch for the freezer) over some very slightly rancid creme fraiche so I ate a serving, but it was mildly unpleasant to say the least. I ended up picked out all the chicken for the dogs, then tossed the rest. Next time I'll use some boursin instead, reckon I'm done with creme fraiche lol.
