I took the day off sick.
I felt bad cos i work for a not profit, but i think it was the right thng to do. I'm getting on top of a few small things, and I slept til 10! And importantly i think i am pulling together a plan for christmas. There's affordable rooms going at a few youth hostels over christmas so think i'll book 4-6 nights in a nearby one. I'll go fell running, and do some logged mountain walks for my outdoor qualification, shop a little, get some new trail shoes, and get a friend maybe to come up for day walks 27th/28th. Oh, and go to some cosy pubs with a book and the paper. I think it'll work! I was scared being on my own for 3-4 days for the first time, but will be ok now i've a plan.

I've booked Christmas!
I'm going 23-28 to a youth hostel, and my bubble mate is joining me for the last two nights. I'm still a bit nervous about being alone, but the pubs are open, and I'll do some outdoor stuff and get some nice food and things. I'm still emotionally quite wobbly over MrGG today, but this has improved things. Phew.
