just a space for people can say what they have been doing today so we can keep up and in touch

  • Another good day so far.

I had a lie in and faffed in bed looking at things on my tablet (new project to lie in). I went for a run with a new guy for the first time, had a good run, good chat, and could have kept running. So the running programme is already paying off (new special interest). I'd seen him running similar routes to me at a similar pace and he looked grounded so I just went up to him in the park last week and asked him for a run (autism disinhibition and lack of getting norms has its advantages though i did feel self conscious afterwards. And i have to be careful not to make him a special new friend and exhaust him).

I only had to warm up food for lunch cos i cooked a tripple batch yesterday. Only taken me til 50 to realise i can cook more than one meal at a time. And I'm prepping food for the week. Clearing some more smelly files by looking into some outdoor courses to do in the new year.

Still a few things I'm avoiding doing, inc the dishes, still.

  • It took quite a few minutes, then a google that came up with National Security Intelligence then No Sacrasm Intended, which I tried hard to make fit the exchange but given you're autistic i figured i should be able to follow and not totally miss things, and then a reread of my message to find the sarcasm stuff, and then a proper laugh out loud. Yes, he can be Mr NSI.

God I hope I don't overwhelm him, he's more normal than my other friends, but seems quite indulging so far of my quirks and has been really positive that i just accosted him in the park for a run. I think he could be a new type of friend, he seems just nice, straightforward, and caring. (For clarity he's straight, married n kids, and luckily i don't fall for straight men, just closeted ones).
