  • The symptoms of autism can be excerbated by various evironmental stressors.

These environmental stressors can include diet.

However, what affects one person on the spectrum may not affect another.

So, there are no 'magic bullet' diets or supplements.

In fact, you could find that you spend hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds on such 'treatments' (and I use that word extremely loosely) and find it has absolutely no affect what-so-ever.

Or, indeed, you may see some changes, and even improvements, but they may not have been due to the diets and supplements at all, and may simply have happened anyway.

The best thing you can do for you daughter is to figure out, understand, and ultimately eliminate as many of her unique stressors as you possibly can.

Giving your money to snake oils salesman (which many of the people peddling these diets and supplements are little more than) is unlikely to help her.

Proceed with a critical eyes open.
