Newbie

Hi everyone,

I'm new here! I've recently been diagnosed with ASC. I see my diagnosis as a very positive thing and feel I can finally start to explore who is me after years of trying to be someone else. It would nice to hear from other people who have been diagnosed in later life (I'm in my 40's)

thank you and I hope you enjoy the book. Have you seen any films or documetarys on Autism such as Too Sane for This world or Force Of Habbit by Tamsin Parker?

Hi LucyLandRover, thank you. Nice to meet you! Yes I love to read and have read a couple already and have a couple more to read.. I actually saw you recommended one on a different post (Send in the idiots, I have just ordered it) I find they have helped me to identify with myself a lot and feel more connected to myself.

Hello SallyCinnamon, wellcome to the community. I too was diagnosed late in life at 38 and like you am exploring the real me after so long masking. Have you read many books on autism as I find this a great way to explore and learn?
