Another Music Thread

I'm listening to a track from the seminal 1968 Dr John album. He was completely whacked out when making it. He grew up in New Orleans and was exposed to Voodoo.

He died, not so long ago.

This track even has a Harpsichord. Far out!

Dr John is awesome. I love to dip in and out of his stuff. So much great music has come of the crescent city :)

Which is the song with the harpsichord? Gris Gris album just to check? If you can find it, I'll re-check that one out.

It was Willy DeVille who 'introduced' me to a fair few New Orleans artists - and Robert Palmer too -who chose The Meters as his backing band.
