I'm listening to a track from the seminal 1968 Dr John album. He was completely whacked out when making it. He grew up in New Orleans and was exposed to Voodoo.

He died, not so long ago.

This track even has a Harpsichord. Far out! Smiley

  • Ace. I'm slowly gathering a collection of contemporary (ok, well last 50 years or so) songs with harpsichord in. I'll get to add this one to that collection. Ta Desmond :)

Just listening to it now - lovely sound, the harpsichord works great. It reminds me of the odd track from Tori Amos' 'Boys for Pele' album which had a distinct New Orleans edge to it too and she included harpsichord on at a few of the tracks.
