I'm listening to a track from the seminal 1968 Dr John album. He was completely whacked out when making it. He grew up in New Orleans and was exposed to Voodoo.
He died, not so long ago.
This track even has a Harpsichord. Far out!

Dr John is awesome. I love to dip in and out of his stuff. So much great music has come of the crescent city :)
Which is the song with the harpsichord? Gris Gris album just to check? If you can find it, I'll re-check that one out.
Track five on Gris-Gris.
Ace. I'm slowly gathering a collection of contemporary (ok, well last 50 years or so) songs with harpsichord in. I'll get to add this one to that collection. Ta Desmond :)
Just listening to it now - lovely sound, the harpsichord works great. It reminds me of the odd track from Tori Amos' 'Boys for Pele' album which had a distinct New Orleans edge to it too and she included harpsichord on at a few of the tracks.
