I have a Dentist appointment today, and a job interview tomorrow.
However, I'm a little edgy. My electricity bill is due soon, and I would have to pump more of my savings into my current account to avoid overdrawing.
It's neverending.

I lost my pre-interview serenity when the interview team were late. Then I struggled to answer the questions and even stimmed with my tie.
My Employment Support Officer said that I did well, given the circumstances. But I'll find out in a week or so.
Good luck with the job interview. Let us know how you get on.
And there was me thinking Arkham was in NI. (Google just put me in the picture.) One of my favorite expressions, whilst talking to myself aloud, has long been, "Another fine day in Gotham City!" Got that from the very tongue-in cheek Adam West tv version of Batman back in the 60s. The place where I live is really a bit of an oriental hell-hole version of Gotham; so I certainly haven't grown out of that expression just yet. The eternal on-edge financial thing is very familar too. But all I can say is that you will invariably find as you think about the folks who apparently made it is that they frequently run up massive lifetime debts. Sure, it's never-ending! But it is looking increasingly likely that the World is going to be very like that post-Covid. Think of it as yourself being an early adopter of some very necessary major global adjustments. ;-) :-)
With you in the neverending part - that's my 'things really suck' solidarity
go get 'em tomorrow
