Dore project

Hi,  I am new on this site and I have a 8  year old boy with austism, ADHD and sensory processing disorder.  I am thinking of doing the dore project and just wondered if any one with similar problems  has  completed and had any success with this project?

  • hi - hadn't heard of Dore so had a google.  Claims made by Dore seem to be disputed.  Maybe other parents will have personal knowledge.  I do remember other programmes over the yrs which were hailed by the media as being "wonder treatments".  The children who were followed appeared to improve.  Some of it was v intensive.  The same cd well have been achieved by a good school for children with autism, altho perhaps over a longer period of time.  There have been a number of claims by different kinds of people, organisations, companies, etc over many yrs.   They claim they can either cure asd or radically ameliorate it.  They also cost a lot of money.  All I'm saying is....and I know you know this.....be v sceptical.  bw
