Question.
what do you make of individuals with ASD and links to alt sexual interests?
do you thinks there is mileage in this? Or is it a tenuous link?
id be glad to hear your thoughts?

That's a really interesting take that I've not thought about before, but it actually makes a lot of sense.
Maybe AS people are less judgemental. I can see how this could link.
Quite a few Autistic women work as lapdancers, sex phone line handlers and prostitutes. There are advantages to those careers. Less social pressure than many jobs. Little need for small talk. You know where you stand, what to expect, it's a routine.
Thank you for a clear answer
Aspies/neurodiverse people I know have found a lot of freedom and calmness in polyamory and kink circles.
Good, clear communication is a necessity in those circles and this is reassuring and liberating for neurodiverse people. It seems to me that neurodiverse are the norm in those circles. In fact, neurotypicals are the ones that tend to struggle to fit in and keep respect in those circles because they make assumptions that the neurodiverse don't take sitting down.
Aspies tend to get very into their interests - toy trains, history, Lego etc. - so why not explore the varieties of sex? All seems quite logical to me. We also tend to not see the unwritten mad rules that NTs invent so I'd guess we are open to many more things - and we judge on experimental data rather than hearsay or prejudice. .
