Day of Madness

I have been up since half two this morning, then went for a drive at ten past five. The battery went. Fortunately, my village has a 24/7 breakdown service. My car got a jump-start.

Then, this afternoon, I went to visit my artist friend. I had to slow down for a young woman riding a horse. The horse trotted to the other side of the road. Only by the grace of God was the oncoming car slow enough to stop on time. Normally, that road is for rev-heads. That shook me up.

I got home safely, but I had palpitations and freaked out whenever a fly landed on me. Then I played 'Tommy's Congo' by Steve Gunn to relieve pent-up aggression.

I am getting ready for bed NOW! It feels like I'm going mad.
