I visited a Social Farm today to see what I would be able to do. However, the drive home was a nightmare; with my planned route blocked due to roadworks and being held up behind a tractor and slow-driving Volkswagen Golf whenever I had a Red Audi up my ***. Then, I had to react suddenly due to cars turning right into a small road while giving way to oncoming traffic.
I had to let the lady know that I couldn't accept the offer. For just four hours, one-day-a-week, somewhere which is at least an hour’s drive away isn't feasible. It's more chaos around time and spending.
I could get the bus to Derry from Toome park-and-ride to Claudy flyover, but they would shoehorn mask-wearing.
It's not worth the effort.
