Hello everyone.... thought I'd post in general chat too...

How is everyone managing with their Christmas shopping?

It all gets silly and over the top doesnt it.... but we still do it.

Hope everyone is ok and not stressed by the hype. xx

  • hi Denise - it's so OTT commercially, esp in a massive recession.  I'm not stressed about the hype, gave up on that a long time ago.  I don't think the "perfect xmas" is achievable for most people + trying to achieve it creates a load of stress + disappointment.  I realised a long time ago that my son didn't view xmas the same as I did.  He enjoys the presents, the grub + the social events.  Full stop.  In many ways no different from a lot of people.  That's fine by me....as long as he's content and/or happy....fair enough!  Have the xmas you genuinely want, chill out.......
