If you are interested maybe we can DM gamertags and game together?????
I also spend a lot of time playing games on the computer.
Favourite genres: rpg's, civ-style games, real time strategy like starcraft, transportation tycoon games, and even the sims.
I played Final Fantasy XII twice. Including the 3 hour fight with the optional boss.
My favourite rpg is Wizardry 8, because it's lots of skill-management and planning... and fun battles with some strategy...
I loved old games like ultima underworld.
Recently I played some hours on Transport Fever 2, with very realistic trains in a very realistic landscape.
This is something I would be interested in, a cooperation based online dungeon crawling game, kind of a dungeons and dragons setting where you go in as a group but everybody has specialisation (classical rogue/wizard/fighter/...) I'm not sure they still have this. I did play a bit of Ultima online, but the player-killing got annoying.
Elder scrolls online might be something you may like.
Probably yes, I did play Morrowind, but I was a bit disappointed by the levelling mechanics. To me Wizardry 8 made perfect sense... you get rewarded by using a skill. I like exploiting the game mechanics to the extreme, and Morrowind allows that but it becomes a bit tedious.
What I liked in Ultima online is that the clues in the game gave it a personal touch. You would find a note on a desk where somebody requested to have an investigation into some mysterious disappearances in the southeast, and then you knew there was something to be discovered. In Morrowind that becomes a bit too repetitive... almost like they gave up on providing a storyline...
