Corruption everywhere

everywhere is corrupt - I don't want to look anymore - it's depressing.

I refused to make a false invoice for a korean guy who wanted to make out to his company he had flown to san francisco - london - seoul  when his ticket said london - seoul - he was doing this every month and when I checked all the tickets to invoices asked my boss and he said the guy will only buy the ticket if he is allowed to put extra things on the invoice - refused to be a part of it even it it meant getting the sack but my boss understood.

politics is the most corrupt - its not so much cash for questions as the party donations from big businesses - the reason why britain was sold down the river was because big businesses wanted cheap labour from immigrants - they care not about the long term future but only about short term gains.

as for NAS, don't get me started - they cannot even publish what percentage of their charity cards goes where, when you ask nobody knows - I wonder why - I wonder who owns the printing company - I wonder if they are on the board, Everytime I see NAS mentioned its because of something negative - not once have I read a single story about NAS actually helping anyone and yet they are supposed to be a charity - they just sell things.

Ken, hope you get compensation that is sufficient to cover your loan and your lost savings plus a bit extra by way of apology.

Its true people suffering from Neurotypical disorder are not who they say they are,

but I think they think they are honest.

My view is most NTD's just arent aware of how their values and memories change according to mood and context, they just automatically assume different personalities in different social situations and think thats normal. 

Probably people with good memories are more honest because they assume other people have good memories and can remember what they said, or at least that was true when their personality and morals were forming.

For people that the past is a fog its probably easier to lie.

They probably make a lot of stuff up anyway because they dont want to admit they cant remember.

NT's seem to be more able to switch from one thought to another without bothering about continuity or consistency, so being two faced is more natural for them.

We also find it harder to ignore something that is significant, and abstract concepts such as morality and honesty are more important to us.

EASY, sums it up,, nicely,,,, my memory is that good, that I remember what people say and do not say, so half of what they say, contradicts what they have said previously,, but when challenged on these points, they can skip into an excuse or shapeshift there bullshit without concern, I would call it lying,, as abnormal normal pattern. It may therefore not be directly there fault, it could be just a build in survive mechanism in there disney world.

The confusion may come as we are looking through a different lens, which the world says we have too(ethic intellect moral base) and everybody else does to,, but they do not,, another of societies lie.

So it is a two way gap. There fault and our fault, but no one is at fault, seems it may be just the way, D'oh,, maybe just been trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, with the NT's saying they have a round hole,, but they do not really. Another lie. So the teaching from this one,, is NT's ARE NOT WHO THEY SAY THEY ARE, NOR THEREFORE WE ARE NOT WHO THEY SAY WE ARE, because it has to work both ways, as they can not have there lies and truth, only the lies or truth. I must learn what these NT's are,, I have a new term from them DROSS, but maybe not a good word, to broadbrush. I wonder if any one has a book on how NT's really are, so I can accept them better.

Hi again Hohner (and Susie) -

Living in a world that's corrupt isn't easy - I basically go it alone most of the time. Partly because I do not want to be involved in dishonest activities and partly because I am very socially disabled. I often go mute in social situations as my autism is getting worse as I get older.

I still work but do a job where there isn't a massive amount of corruption, it's a small business which has it's problems but it is an 'honest living' for me.

I have had to learn to let people be themselves. If others make the decision to be corrupt that is up to them but I will have nothing to do with it and I will always maintain my honesty. I will also never lie for someone else and make this clear to people. There will always be corruption and dishonesty in this world and I or a small number of us cannot stop it, all we can do is be ourselves. And it's not always easy to see bad stuff going on but we don't have to be a part of it. It's a drop in the ocean but I hope that people will follow my quiet example and that feels like a start. Until then, I keep away from bad stuff and lead my simple life.

I see it too. Honesty is massively important to me - to lie is theft of another persons trust. I know lots of people who are constantly on the fiddle - how do they live with themselves? And then there's all the people on big salaries who do as little work as possible - public sector workers seem to be the main culprits here - and the work they do is often poor. Politicians are high on my list of abusers of trust. I've only ever voted once in my life and I get told off for "wasting" a vote. But how can I support someone who tells such lies (sorry, untruths) before they've even got their position as an MP?

I think HFA/Aspergers gives us the ability of insight and intuition - of being able to see things that the "others" are blind to. This, along with my honesty gets me into trouble often but I consider it to be a gift.

Thank you for your reply, it is a blessing to know someone who shares my concerns. I am also HF-austistic, it seems the world is blind(too busy living it up within an egotistic stimulate drama social hypnosis scripting), but with my aspergers I am suppose to be socially blind one, that one confuses me. Okay, I probably have problems rationalising corruption out, because I am probably looking for a rational stable perfect path that is not there in the world, but what really annoys me is the learning capacity that I have enormous but the final piece in system is always error with fixed corruption, which I can't take part in. So therefore anything that involves other humans now makes it a very untrusting world for me. I too have held high order positions in business which just turn out to be corrupt circles and we are talking at a blue chip level with the cartel rigging a zero sum risk advantage with privy circle governmental connections. This ducking and diving they do is just the normal corrupt order of "there" dark world. But the irony is they see themselves as totally WHITE, where as I know them by study of 20 years of model as dark evilights who create a gap system of opportunity by rigging the total cycle of the markets to there advantage by control of the mechanisms by association. We are talking councils, planning permissions, government land auctions, banks asset valuations and credit availability. THERE IS NO COMPETITION, that is a fallacy for the masses.

So how do you turn around a negative basis mindframe ? I have angst and hatred for mankind, being honest.

I'm with you on this. I am HF-autistic and I see what I think is dishonesty and corruption everywhere but everybody else tells me it's normal and that I have the problem.

If someone rips off their insurance by claiming for a device they broke themselves, that's wrong to me but apparantly ok for them. I think people kid themselves into justifying corrupt behaviour but right and wrong are clear to me and I know which is which.  I know people who fiddle their taxes, claim benefits wrongly and then there's government and higher authorities all of which are corrupt in my opinion.

I try to be honest in all my dealings so I know I've done my best to get it right and I always tell the truth (or sometimes say nothing because I've learned I can offend people by accident with my honesty).

You live your life honestly Hohner - and hopefully one day others will follow our example and the world will be a nicer place for everyone.
