Shutting down with Covid-19 anxiety

My daughter 17 is diagnosed with ASD, since all of the news feed has came out she is shitting down more.

we are trying to get her into a routine she won’t do anything.

i started with her college friends parents getting it, tragic but they passed away, then her grandparents luckily they are recovering but this put into a meltdown and she has never been the same since.

she won’t leave the house, she is anxious when I do and I am a key worker me and her dad are trying to support her but she has become very moody and snappy and won’t accept support.

is anyone having the same problem, what can I do to support her she is spiralling into depression

Just leave her in peace and she should work it through, she sounds pretty normal for an autistic.

As a teenager I was worse.

Ha ha I have just seen my typo

thanks for your comments it’s just such a worry she was doing so well, scared she has undone all the work done it taken years to get her to a point of leaving the house and chatting to people of her own age.

wish I could think of something to keep her engaged during this

I've been very worried that I had offended you.

I suspect that although autistics are having a difficult time, many, so called normal people are finding it even more difficult to adapt being stuck at home.
