My Support Network Nightmare

I’ve just found out that a member of my professional support network is moving to a new job role and I’m to be reallocated again :-/ I’ve been really unlucky with allocations, with people moving on, going long term sick etc... I’m not great with trust and feel like it’s one huge step backwards again :( Whatsmore I actually got on well with her. So not a good day :( The new person will be my 7th in 2 years! I feel quite despondent today as a result... thought Gettin this out there may help.

  • This high a turnover is a bit worrying, not sure on background but might be worth looking to see if there are any other providers you could use/be referred to? Are there any local social groups (on or offline) that may share insights on other support providers? If another one has a better reputation for consistency it maybe worth going for one big change over ongoing changes every few months

    See there’s no choice on this one sadly - there is normally stability - just the way my allocations have fallen have been crazily unlucky - my one that goes this week has a new post, the one before went off long term sick, the one before was reallocated to another location... it’s just really frustrating, but I guess these things happen. The person taking over is due to be in touch next week.
