So I was in group therapy for a month or so and when they finally discharged me they said I had BPD and autism. Is this true. It’s been a thing on my mind for a while ever since I got that diagnosis. I’d love to get some feedback.

Thank you. I’ve herd that it’s commonly miss diagnosed within the female population with autism. But If I was to be honest I feel I have so many symptoms of BPD that show up in my daily life such as excessive anger outburst for stupid things. I’ve also been told I’m good at Starting rumors.
I was diagnosed with bpd 12 years ago and autism 4 years ago.

Well here is a link describing Borderline Personality Disorder in some detail:
https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/topics/borderline-personality-disorder/index.shtml
And having BPD as a co-morbid Personality Disorder can be the case (or true) for some people with autism, such as I have Schizoaffective Personality Disorder as being comorbid with my autism.
I have a couple of female friends who are both autistic and have also been diagnosed as having BPD, and there have been a number of community members also discussing having BPD that I can recall in my four years as a community member, and here is a link to 114 threads on this forum covering them including yours here:

If you feel inclined.
