Help!

Ah, I need help guys. It's nothing bad, I'm just anxious. There's no reason for me to be anxious, I should be super excited...but my emotions are mixed.
Basically, for my work experience at school, I worked at Waterstones (the book shop.) I enjoyed it so much, and it's the only place I really to want to work at. So as I recently turned 16, I sent the mangaer an email explaining that I'm now 16 and asking if there are any available Saturday jobs or Christmas work. And to my joy, he replied and asked if I could go into the store on Saturday for a chat about it. When I got the email, I was so excited, I screamed and really couldn't believe it. But now I've started worrying about things, which my mum tells me are silly things to stress about. Do I tell him I have Aspergers? I don't want to lie to him, but maybe he will think I'm incapable (which I'm not)...Do I need to take a CV? He only said it was a "chat" not an interview, but what if he asks for one? I don't have a CV, and am pondering whether to make one? Half of me is really excited, but then half of me is worrying like crazy!

  • This unds very promising - he obviously knows you are up to the job if he met you on owrk experience and wants you back. I agree with the other posters. Do the 'caht' see what happens , and if you are offered the job tell him about the asperger then - you may even have some forms to fill in where you can declare it as a 'disability'. It may help you in the  long run if they know , as they have to make reasonable adjustments to meet your needs,

But see what you can achieve when you have the chat just by being you with no labels - you might surprise yourself.
