Do you think my friend cares about me more than a spider?

If my friend spends about five seconds killing a spider but is going to spend three hours with me having lunch and visiting a museum, does this suggest that she cares about me a lot more than she does about the spider? Does the fact that she is spending more time with me than time with the spider suggest that she cares more about me than the spider?

...Ooh-er, it is ME again (!). I was going to type a completely different reply to this (New) Thread, but then something occurred to Me about Your seemingly strange/illogical question about Spiders...

Might You perhaps be a person who is interested in Spiders yet is surrounded by Persons who 'totally fear screaming killing hating' spiders...?

...I really hope this does explain Your questions, here! Please confirm if I am correct or wrong, please. Yes, I Like spiders Myself, so can see that point-of-view, and Spiders are small enough to be vulnerable and so they must be treated/handled with some respect. But they are seen as scary, just like Snakes and Scorpions, since they can kill in one blow, and also seen as a "fear of the unknown"...

...And here is a good link about keeping one as a PET. My advice is to buy a good book about it and be certain before buying one. I also *insist* to get the ones recommended as a PET, not just any old spider. Hairy Spiders are better pets than "hairless/smooth" spiders. But as I say, please get more information first!

...When Spiders put their front legs up in the air, that is a Threat display, and they can kick hair, literally. Just like a Dog or a Cat, handle Your Spider before purchase... if it has a bald abdomen or threatens You, then it is in a bad temper (!) and do not purchase that particular fellow unless You truly know what You are about, so-to-speak...
