Hey,
Does anyone else have trouble uploading pictures or if it something I do wrong? I've uploaded a few but lately when I try it looks like it attempts it but then won't post my message. Has anybody else had this problem as well? Thanks in advance:)
As an experienced photo poster, here is my advice.
Photos need to have a file size of under 1MB. Resize and/or compress them to get under that size. Other posting websites, sometimes, automatically resize the photos, but here we have to do it ourselves.
If that fails, try opening the photo in another different photo manipulation package and saving the photo again. Not all JPEGS are equal! They should be, but they're not. Some programs will not read photos from certain other programs.
Here is a very recent photo. Size 3500 X 2419 and still well under 1MB because I used a high compression (low quality setting 60%).
Greetings "Triniti".... As far as I Myself recall, from NAS themselves (sort of)... 'pictures need to be below 800 x 800 pixels in size, and/or be in JPEG format'.
...But this is not a hard and fast rule, and so just keep simplifying and/or shrinking, or saving pictures, until they post. Other things to try include: reduce the amount of colours or flatten the image. And of course what Mr.Plastic says is correct, too!
