Being hugged

If someone hugs you does this suggest that they love/care about you?
  • Greetings! You begin a lot of Threads with the ol' "what does ---- mean here", I see... Nothing wrong with that, I now see. Yet I am mostly posting to say that there is a whole Internet and people out there, to gain other answers, not just upon this forum... but as I say, it is alright to ask as You do, here. Yet Please, DO NOT RELY UPON THE INTERNET SO MUCH, though - Life is for Living! + Build Safety upon Safe places and Explore to find new Safety... This is what Living is, and Everyone has their own kind of Living and Safety... is what I say...(!)

I hope You get what I mean, there. Meantime, I also reply because I am a bit of a "hugger" Myself... Maybe bad, but the thing is, some people are more tactile or touchy-feely than others... In common greetings, even with strangers and in Business Meetings, *and* depending upon the CULTURE... Persons will kiss or hug or say "Love", Dear", "Darling" etc... even Men to other Men. The thing is, everyone is different, and it is a thing which needs to be learnt/respected about that Person or that Culture or that Protocol... it goes on and on...

Try not to read too much into anything - i.e. do not take it "personally". Yet if in doubt, simply ASK them about it... it is not the Allistic (Non-Autistic) thing to do, asking... yet if the person respects You, then They will understand Your asking about it and may explain what they say or do.

The main thing is, if someone says/does something to *deliberately* cause upset or pain or damage... *that* is the sign that they do not care, and so they should be avoided.

...Sorry, that turned into a long reply, did it not (!)...? But again I hope You get all of what I try to convey, here. Good Luck to You.
