On Thursday evening, I completed my application form for the Belfast Social Club - which currently has a waiting list - and emailed my completed form back to them. Then, I called the office yesterday morning to ask if they had received my application form. There was no answer - I'm not sure if they're open on Fridays - giving that it's a Charity.
I generally find that feedback takes quite a few days to arrive. Perhaps, I need to find out their opening hours. I appreciate that they're busy, but it doesn't take too long to compose an email.
On a more positive note, I will be in Belfast all day. First for a Coffee get-together, then visit an art exhibition, then visit a guy from my area at the Royal Hospital and attend a Christmas Dinner at Windsor Park. I'm looking forward to the day.
