Opinion please.

I would be grateful if as many people as possible could comment honestly on the following:

If an experienced car driver with autism repeatedly stalled their car because they were unable to find the correct gear,( a minimum of 5 to 6 times on two occasions within 50 m). Could  this cause them to experience sensory overload/shutdown.?

Additional  information includes. The location was on a High Street which resulted in disruption to other road users.

There was additional noise from revving the car engine and the grating gears. The driver had only driven his car on 2 to 3 previous occasions.

Thank -you.
