Sickness

I have two sons. One is five, and has Aspergers/Hugh functioning autism. He is in the process of getting a statement.

The other is three. I have delayed nursery as he is very attached and he wasn't ready. He is fine at home with my husband and me. However, at playgroup (with me) he will cling to me for the first half an hour and evenwince he warms up he will curl up into a ball and not make eye contact with anyone.

There are other issues too. He often wakes up scared at night. He is over attached to his toys. He is very fussy about his food - will pretty much only eat dry food - no butter or sauces bar ketchup.

His two major issues are toileting and sickness though.

Toileting - great with wee. Dry at night. Holds poo. Often for up to five days. Doctor put him on movicol but it stopped having an effect.

Sickness - was occasionally sick. Last week three times. This week five times. Can't find a pattern. If he falls or gets stressed he is sick. If he drinks his milk fast?? He is sick. At the end of his meal, if he eats well, he is sick. It is becoming more frequent though - almost every day this week.

Just wondered if these were signs of autism as lots of people disagree with me that he is somewhere on the autistic spectrum - I guess because my other son is so different and Michael is better socially.

Just any help or thoughta or similar experiences would help

Thanks
