News - Young Campaigners' Charter

Just wanted to let everyone know about the launch of the Young Campaigners' Group Charter.

As part of our You Need to Know Campaign 8 young people came together as the  Young Campaigners' Group. They want to change the system of mental health services for young people with autism like them.

The put together a charter for mental health services - 12 points that they think will make the biggest difference to services for children and young people on the autisitic spectrum. I'm sure they'd love to hear any feedback on what they've written, so let us know what you think.

The process of creating the charter and the group's experiences with mental health services has been documented in the short film 'Open your mind'. You can see it hear on our YouTube channel, along with some interviews with members of the group. We'll also be adding more videos as the Campaign moves forward.
