So, I thought that I’d revive my ‘caption this’ threads from a few months ago. I apologise if any pictures get recycled from the olds threads.
Basic rules: I post a silly picture, you post a caption and /or post another picture for myself and other people to caption. I’ll start you off with this. Have fun!

What is your X-men collection, models/photos/other?
We've got the NEC near, so quite a few. I've seen so many dudes dressed like Sailor Moon, but one guy nailed it. That stood out because he it was done seriously. It takes a very dedicated mind for a dude to pull that off!
Saw a great Kang the Conqueror once too. I like that character so it was good.
Tbh there are a lot of good costumes, and even the bad stuff is fun.
I've never cosplayed myself, at least not in a public setting.........
Which Comic Cons have you been to? Have you seen any good costumes?
I've been to a few. Never did the cosplay thing! Went to complete my collection of Chris Claremont's run on X-Men. The cosplay is fun to see though, saw the crappest Silver Surfer!
I remember when my eldest was ‘really’ into Twilight, we went to a Comic Con in London and she had ‘booth shots’ done with two of the cast members ♀️
It's not a selfie. It's a booth shot. Unless X-23 is taking it.
One local one is called ...... Museum. Can't remember the first word. I suppose there is a slight degree of 'muse' involved, but not that much. How much more exciting it would be to interact with something real, I can't help thinking.

Ah! Got it now! It's one of those places that indulges selfies. Barf! We have way too many of those here already. They practically invented it here! Almost as banal as reality TV!!!
Stan Lee is A+ list, the character that he’s having his photo taken with certainly isn’t!
Ah perhaps this is a proper comic con which Stan Lee was attending and the guy in costume is a visitor who has paid (£50+) to have his photo taken with Stan, as well as attempting to ‘impress’ him with his costume!

Thanks for the info, but i'm really no wiser. People are still into stuff like Hello Kitty, Anime and Cosplay in this neck of the woods. Don't really get those either!
I had a knock on the door one weekend. I answered it with extreme care, fearing Jehovah's Witnesses might be on the prowl. It turned out to be three Japanese girls in full Cosplay costume, who wanted to know if i could teach them some English. That was about the last thing i would have ever expected to happen. Unfortunately/fortunately, I was too busy at the time to do anything about it. Or was it all just a hallucination?
