my son's benefits still get payed into my bank account I'm the only one that deals with this I was his appointee but it was only awarded for a few years and this was up a few years back but the benefits office haven't told me to apply again everything seems fine. Do I contact them about this?

  • I am my uncles appointee, he is in a carehome (no other relatives). Someone from benefits office interviewed me 8 years ago to claim money on his behalf as he has no capacity and haven’t heard from dwp or anyone else since. His benefits still get paid into account in my name (which I set up specifically for him) and his carehome fees /living expenses come out of that same account. I didn’t know that you had to contact them to review it, I just assumed it would stay that way unless the claimant contacted them to change it.
