today I had someone come from social work to start the process of guardianship for my son age 20 he's high functioning but still needs support and supervision when out on trips to shops his behaviour is challenging at times. Talks to himself constantly gets worse when we're out anywhere and I tell him in calm voice to control it then he can be very angry and annoyed because I've told him to lower his voice. Anyway the woman who came to visit us today asked if my son can make a sandwich I told her he can but not a main meal i make all his meals. What im asking is it worth all the hassle to apply for guardianship and also because my son can make a sandwich could this be refused?
