How long did you have to wait to receive diagnostic report following verbal confirmation?

I waited 2 weeks for the report after being verbally told the results at the assessment (early this year). 

However, waiting for the actual final assessment was almost 2 years.

What do you mean qwerty? ok, so you got a report two weeks after being told at an assessment? was this the diagnostic report? which assessment? and what final assessment  was almost 2 years?

So, the diagnosis process is very long, you need to first request an assessment (usually at your GP), then more waiting, then there is an initial assessment (to triage people and decide whether you move on to the next stage), and then more waiting, and then questionnaires are sent to you to fill in, and more waiting, before the final assessment.

So from me asking for an assessment to finally actually having the final assessment was almost 2 years.

But after getting the final assessment, the report only took 2 weeks to come.
